The purpose of the Oklahoma Sorghum Commission is to develop, carry out and participate in programs of research in grain sorghum production, disease and insect control.

The Commission is also dedicated to development and participation in programs of education and promotion designed to encourage the production, marketing and use of the commodity.

The Oklahoma Sorghum Commission is looking for sorghum producers interested in serving in the board position for District 2 which is comprised of Alfalfa, Beaver, Harper, Woods and Woodward counties as noted on this district map.  If you are an Oklahoma resident with a farming operation in District 4 and are interested in serving, please email Executive Director Jeff Hickman for more information.
